ADEK International’s raison d’être is to maintain and serve the community of former trainees of all EU institutions while promoting the spirit and values underpinning the creation of the European Communities.

- Maintain and develop an International solidarity network among its membership;
- Maintain a permanent contact with the institutions of the European Union;
- Contribute to the development of European awareness and a European solidarity.
Secondary objectives of ADEK International are to:
- Offer and continuously seek enrichment of a range of networking events and services to its members including social events in the spirit of the original traineeship;
- Maintain links between former and current “stage” promotions;
- Maintain and develop a role as an actor in European civil society with specialist knowledge and “inside” experience of EU affairs and operations.
