The
institutions of the European Union offer a range of in-service
training periods for young university graduates and public
service employees from both EU member states and
third countries
wortldwide.
The European
Commission employs the largest number of trainees, and therefore
of ADEK members.
Every year, the Commission
welcomes a
total of
over 1,200 stagiaires using two stage cycles
of 5 months' duration:
Winter Stage - October to February
Summer Stage - March to July
Other
institutions of the EU also employ a number of trainees, all of
whom are potential ADEK members, and welcome to join the
Association at any time.
This
training period enables trainees, wherever they are based, to
learn the workings of European institutions - whether the one
they are housed in, or ones in direct contact with the work of
the individual - and enables trainees to enhance their
work experience in an international environment.
